Managing Contract Tasks
In this article, we will guide you through the process of completing required actions and managing your contracts effectively.
Producer Contracting Dashboard
The Producer Dashboard in Contracting is your one-stop-shop for all action required, pending and completed contracts. When logged into your Producer Dashboard, you should see a view like the photo below.
AgentSync Tip: Does your screen not look like the photo? Click your name in the top left corner and then click Contracting Dashboard.
The three tabs at the top of the page are where all of your contracts will live. Each tab will list how many contracts it holds under the tab label. Below is an overview of each tab, and a link to jump to each tab's instructions in this article:
- Contracts requiring action: There are two scenarios when a contract may end up in this tab:
- The contract(s) have already been started by either yourself or an Org Manager at your agency has started a contract on your behalf. Once they have completed as much information as they can, they will send it to you to review, complete, and sign.
- The contract assigned to you is a contract that needs to be completed within the Carrier's portal.
- Fill out a new contract: Contracts will appear here when an Org Manager at your agency assigns a new contract with no information pre-filled.
- Current and past contracts: All contracts that do not require any action by you will appear in this tab. You can check the status of your contracts in this tab.
Contracts Requiring Action
As stated above, all contracts in the "Contracts requiring action" tab will have been started by either you as the producer or by your Org Manager at the agency. To begin the process of completing a contract requiring action, complete the following steps:
AgentSync Tip: Need to step away while completing a contract? No problem! Simply click SAVE & EXIT at Step 3 or after to save your changes. The contract will remain in the "Contracts requiring action" tab until complete.
- Confirm the correct organization is selected and the "Contracts requiring action" tab is selected.
- Click the blue Review button on the contract line that you wish to complete.
- You will be brought to a new screen and will be filling out and/or confirming several pages of information. To start, fill out and/or confirm all "Personal Information" and then click NEXT.
- Complete and/or confirm the "Firm Information" and click NEXT.
- Complete and/or confirm the "Payment Details" and click NEXT. Note that no information is required in this section to continue.
- Complete and/or confirm the "E&O" information and click NEXT. Note that no information is required in this section to continue.
- Confirm your Licenses and click NEXT. Note that no information is required in this section to continue.
- Complete and/or confirm the "Trainings & Certificates" information and click NEXT. Note that no information is required in this section to continue.
- Complete and/or confirm the "Legal Questions" and click NEXT. Note that there may not be any questions to answer in this section.
- Upload and/or confirm the "Contracting Documents" and click NEXT. Note that no information is required in this section to continue.
- Complete and/or confirm the "Carrier Questions" and click NEXT. Note that there may not be any carrier questions to answer in this section.
- Review the information in the "Signature" section and sign your name. You may either Draw your signature in the box provided, or you may Upload a photo of your signature. Then, click SAVE and NEXT.
- Review the contract details, click the checkbox next to "I agree to the terms and conditions", and click SUBMIT.
Please note, when previewing your contracts, your signature will not appear. Don't worry, it will be applied once your submit your contract back to the Agency.
Congratulations - you've just completed your portion of a contract! Upon submission, the contract will be sent back to the agency Org Manager for review before it is forwarded to the carrier. You can check the status of the contract in the "Current and past contracts" tab.
Fill Out a New Contract
There may be times when your agency Org Manager is not able to pre-fill any of your information in the contract before sending it to you. In this scenario, the contract will live in the "Fill out a new contract" tab. To begin the process of filling out a new contract, complete the following steps:
AgentSync Tip: Need to step away while filling out a new contract? No problem! Simply click SAVE & EXIT at Step 4 or after to save your changes. The contract will move to the "Contracts requiring review" tab until complete.
- Confirm the correct organization is selected and the "Fill out a new contract" tab is selected.
- Click checkbox next to the contract you wish to fill out and then click REVIEW AND SUBMIT.
- A pop up will appear with a list of documents that may be needed to complete the contract. To begin filling out the contract, click SUBMIT.
- You will be brought to a new screen and will be filling out several pages of information. To start, fill out all "Personal Information" and then click NEXT.
- Complete the "Firm Information" and click NEXT.
- Complete the "Payment Details" and click NEXT. Note that no information is required in this section to continue.
- Complete the "E&O" information and click NEXT. Note that no information is required in this section to continue.
- Confirm your Licenses and click NEXT. Note that no information is required in this section to continue.
- Complete the "Trainings & Certificates" information and click NEXT. Note that no information is required in this section to continue.
- Complete the "Legal Questions" and click NEXT. Note that there may not be any questions to answer in this section.
- Upload the "Contracting Documents" and click NEXT. Note that no information is required in this section to continue.
- Complete the "Carrier Questions" and click NEXT. Note that there may not be any carrier questions to answer in this section.
- Review the information in the "Signature" section and sign your name. You may either Draw your signature in the box provided, or you may Upload a photo of your signature. Then, click SAVE and NEXT.
