This article answers all frequently asked questions about Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) in AgentSync.

  • Why do we use MFA for AgentSync and how do I enable MFA with AgentSync?

    This video walks through AgentSync's MFA requirement, how to enable MFA using Salesforce Authenticator, and how to log into AgentSync using MFA.  

  • Do I need to use Salesforce Authenticator?

You do not need to use Salesforce Authenticator.  You just need to confirm that your MFA solution meets these requirements.  Here are some examples of what you can use:

    • A third-party authentication app such as Duo, Microsoft Authenticator, or 1Password.  
    • A physical security key 
    • A built in authenticator such as Windows Hello or Touch ID.

  • I just purchased a new phone or computer!  How do I reset my MFA with AgentSync?

Excellent question!  Email us at support@agentsync.io and we can reset your MFA.  You will be prompted to enable it again using the steps above.

  • I got locked out of MFA, what do I do?

  • My company uses single-sign on (SSO).  How does that work with AgentSync's MFA?

If your single-sign on meets the MFA requirements listed here, we can connect your AgentSync org with your single-sign on provider.  Please speak with your implementation manager or CSM start the conversation!
