NIPR Transaction Page: Glossary

When submitting transactions in AgentSync Manage, you may wonder what the various fields on your NIPR transaction page mean. This short article walks through many of the key fields you will encounter.

Audit logs and history:  This section shows the date and time that each of these fields were changed so you can track the day that your specific transaction was approved!

Estimated fees: When you initially apply for transaction, you first check to see if the transaction is eligible.  If it is, it will say ready to submit, which means you are all set to submit!  You will also be able to view the estimated cost of this transaction before submitting to NIPR.  Keep a note here - this is just an estimate and the reported fee can be different.

The include checkmark on the NIPR transaction lines of authorities shows which transactions are submitted to AgentSync Manage.  If the lines of authorities are checked or unchecked incorrectly, please email us at support@agentsync.io.  This means that the underlying metadata needs to be reviewed and we can turn off and on specific lines to ensure that the right lines of authorities are included when you are submitting transactions in AgentSync manage!  If you do not want to turn any of the lines off in the underlying metadata, follow these instructions on how to turn off or on a line in AgentSync Manage.

Included LOA categories: These are the LOA categories included as part of your transaction.  You can also see this on your producer's producer detail record, and we highly recommend always taking a look before submitting your transaction - this way, you can make any edits to the transaction if you need to add any more lines of authorities.

License class Agent types:  This is shows the agent type that is being submitted in the transaction.  Many of our customers ask - if I am applying for a producer license, why can the line list so many other agent types (like the photo below)?  This is because this label will include all agent types that can be licensed under the license class included in the transaction, meaning that as a producer transaction - I am eligible to apply for surplus, MGA, motor club, travel, and surety with a producer license.  However, only the agent type specified in the producer detail record will be considered for the transaction created.
