Interested in submitting Just-in-Time (JIT) appointments in AgentSync? This article will walk through key considerations.
Interested in learning more about JIT appointments? Read here for best practices.
AgentSync includes baked-in business rules to identify which states allow for JIT appointments and the customer can identify which of those states they would like to use JIT functionality for during the implementation period.
When an appointment transaction is requested in AgentSync for a state that has been marked in the company state settings as a JIT state, the transaction is created but is held.
The transaction must be released for processing by completing the “Business Application Number” field on the transaction record.
The customer also has the option of completing the “Business Application Date,” as well, to identify the starting date for the timeframe related to the date the first piece of business is submitted to the carrier.
Completion of these fields can be done manually one transaction at a time, or the customer has the option to have their internal IT resources set up an integration with the AgentSync API endpoint in order to send AgentSync the value for one or both of these fields and release the transaction for processing.
